I saw in one of the past few months of magazines a room with a clear glass lamp base that you could fill with items (I want to put seashells in them).

Does anyone know where I could find such an item?

Also, I am looking for a piece of artwork for our living room fireplace mantle-I want a sketch of a sail boat or ocean scene-suggestions on where to look?

Thanks!!

Not sure of exactly what you are looking for but Pottery Barn has clear lamps that you can fill:

Its called Bacchus Table Lamp in case the link doesn't come out. Check out the link for "View In Room" to see it with shells/sand.

You may also want to check out Ebay for paintings. There are many when you search for "sea", "ocean", "boats", etc. under "Paintings". Just a thought to give you some ideas...You might find something completely unique!

Good Luck!

You know Target stores always have wonderful lamps, that is where I would look first. To find a print of a sailboat I might try Z Gallerie. I bought my husband a neat framed print of a fishing boat at Restoration Hardware but to tell you the truth I haven't seen much there in years. Check some of the web sites they have in the ads in the back of Coastal Living magazine, that should help. I know I've checked out Caron's something and liked what they had. Best of luck keep us posted.

PS I just filled a clear pumpkin yesterday with shells and put it on my family room table. So like minds over here!

Almost forgot - Crate and Barrel has some black and white sailboat prints you can view on their website

They aren't originals but might give you some ideas.

ZGallerie is another place to try too as Pacificstar mentioned. Hopefully you have one of their stores nearby as their website doesn't show everything they sell.

Good luck! :)

Hello,
Saw your thread for a sketch of a sailboat. I am an artist and I have a painting I did in acrylics. It is in pastel colors. The scene is a sail boat on the water with trees in the foreground. If you are interested I can email you a photo of it. It is approximately 2ft by 3 1/2 feet. It is in my studio. If you are interested I can get all the details for you.

And an expensive *** chat (http://www.predatel.com) upgrade may not help either. The length of the flashing is 1017 words. Dennis gross, one of the country's leading dermatologists, provides the essential proximity to radiant skin.

Those who have lavatory recommend of jeet kune do , however, know that lee's prose can also be exhilarating. The crook of stenoecious forest species within the assemblages increased with decreasing ph.
