Hi everyone! I'm new here, and desperate for some help. For my mum's birthday, I'd like to get her something I saw in a recent issue of Coastal Living. Of course...I was reading it AT my mum's house, so I just know it's been within the past couple months. It was in a room with a "beach glass green" wall, and it was a wooden Life Preserver with the families name scripted on to it. My mum kept saying how much she loved it and I wanted to get her one for her birthday, but as much sneaking around to re-find the magazine, and searching online, I cannot find the issue anywhere to see where to purchase one just like it. It was an article on a family home that was renovated, they had teenage kids who shared a room (I remember thinking it was odd that a teenage brother and sister were sharing a room). I don't know if theis helps at all, but I'm so desperate to find this issue. My library doesn't stock the magazine and I can't wait the time for an issue to be delivered. Does anyone have a copy and if so, could you send me any information they have on where you can purchase the life saver? I would be so appreciative, I think it would mean so much to my mum! Thank you so much in advance for ANY help!

:)

I tried going back through all my magazines since November of 2005 and cannot find anything on a renovation of a house with those color walls referencing older children and showing a life preserver. I hope I didn't overlook it but I really went through each one. Maybe the article was older than you thought? Do you remember anything else about the story?

Sorry I couldn't help!:(

The April 2006 issue had a collectibles article on life rings. There are a couple of resources listed in the back of the magazine in the "Where to Find It..." section:

Blue-and-white personalized ring, Cyber Island Shops Inc.; 888/974-3557, nauticalsupplyshop.com or coastaldecorshop.com

Happy shopping!
